YAESU VX-6E
The YAESU VX-6E is a dual-band portable for V / UHF amateur radio use with improved reception. Its highly robust design gives it high-level qualities such as being submersible at 1 meter for 30 minutes or resistant to the usual shocks for use in leisure, hiking, mountaineering, etc. In dangerous activities such as mountaineering, the EAI automatic emergency identification features or its high luminosity multicolor LED can be very useful. The YAESU VX-6 is a rugged, submersible * two-band transceiver with extensive reception frequency coverage, combining local two-way amateur communications with the most advanced monitoring technology in the industry. The small size of the YAESU VX-6E allows you to take it with you everywhere: when you go hiking, skiing or walking around town; likewise, the functional flexibility of the transport offers the user countless possibilities to fully enjoy all that the equipment offers. The incredibly compact FNB-80LI rechargeable lithium ion battery pack supplies up to 5W of transmit power in the 144 and 430 Mhz hobby bands. In addition to alternate operation on the 144 and 430 Mhz bands, the YAESU VX-6E also has reception coverage on the AM (MF) and FM broadcast bands, the HF shortwave bands, the television over VHF and UHF, the aeronautical AM bands over VHF, as well as a wide range of commercial and public safety frequencies! YAESU new features in the @4K7K1 VX-6E include an Automatic Emergency Identification (EAI) feature, which makes the transceiver transmit your callsign itself and activate the computer's microphone, regardless of you. you are unable and unable to press the PTT switch; an amplified code squelch and selective calling system (EPCS), which is used to send an announcement to a specific station and, if desired, receive calls from that station only; plus a secret key, which allows you to turn on and operate the transceiver only after it has been configured in the system. The transceiver also has a convenient button to activate Vertex Standard's wide coverage repeater amplification system (also known as WIRES®), a Transmission Interval Timer (TOT), an Automatic Power Off (APO) system , Automatic Repeater Switching (ARS), the exclusive ARTS® Automatic Repeater Distance Verification Transponder System developed by YAESU , which provides an “audible signal” to the user once the user moves out of range of another station also equipped with this type of device, apart from other mechanisms aimed at reducing the diversion of its emissions in areas with high channel congestion. The transceiver also has an RF noise reduction circuit, which allows you to program audio frequency so that it opens once it reaches the preset level in the “S” Meter, thus avoiding having to make too much guesswork at the moment. to set the desired squelch threshold Specs: |
